Refunds are only processed for rejected applications. The following conditions apply:
- A 2% transaction fee will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee is charged for payment processing through Razorpay Payment Gateway.
- Additionally, an 18% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is applicable on the transaction fee, which will also be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds are not applicable for incomplete or incorrectly filled applications. Users must ensure that all forms are accurately completed before submission.
Refund Process
If your application is eligible for a refund, the process will be initiated within 7–10 business days after rejection confirmation. The refunded amount will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of the transaction. The credited amount may take additional time to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider's policies.
Payment Method
All payments are securely processed through Razorpay Payment Gateway. This ensures the safety and reliability of transactions. For any issues related to payment processing, users are advised to contact their bank or Razorpay directly.
Calculation Example
For transparency, here’s an example of how the refund amount is calculated:
- Transaction Amount: ₹1,000
- Transaction Fee (2%): ₹20
- GST on Transaction Fee (18%): ₹3.60
- Total Deduction: ₹23.60
- Refund Amount: ₹976.40
